The Centre for Social Science Research (CSSR) organized a seminar on 18^th of November on Evolution and Accomplishments of Collaborative Research and Education in collaboration with the Institute for Social and Environmental Research Nepal (ISER-N). At the beginning of the session, Professor Zakir Hossain Raju, Director, Centre for Social Science Research (CSSR) & Dean, School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) gave the opening speech and welcomed all guests. Professor M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor (IUB), was present at the occasion as the chief guest, and gave his remarks about the event. Later the podium was open to Dr. Dirgha Jibi Ghimire, Research Scientist, Population Studies Centre, Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan, to present on ISER-N and their research collaboration as conducted in Nepal. Dr. Prem Bhandari, Research Scientist, Population Studies Centre, Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan was also present on this ocassion. The event came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sharmeen Ahmed, Alternate SPM, CSSR & Senior Lecturer, SLASS, IUB. Mr. Obydullah Al Marjuk, Associate SPM & Lecturer, SLASS, IUB conducted the seminar.
