Centre for Social Science Research (CSSR) started its journey in 2013 as an independent research centre. It was established as a part of School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). The centrestrives to become a key research organization of the country by conducting high quality research in social science.
